Hello and welcome to Jasper's Blog. I’m Jackie, aka Jasper's Mum, the heart behind Jasper’s Creations.

This blog was created as a gentle companion to my keepsake work—a quiet space where grief is honoured, memories are held with care, and stories are shared with warmth and sincerity.

I’ll be writing about the meanings behind memorial jewellery, the symbolism woven into each design, and the quiet ways we carry love forward. Whether you’re grieving a beloved person, a cherished pet, or a moment that changed you, or celebrating special bonds you hold now. For those who are grieving then I hope these posts offer comfort and connection, and help you decide what keepsake is right for you.

How It All Started

Jasper’s Creations began not as a business, but as a way to honour love and loss, a way to channel all my grief, a way to remember, scared of forgetting the unconditional love, wondering if they was happy if I gave them enough, all the feeling s that you feel when you lose a loved one.

I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up surrounded by six, and there’s rarely been a time when I haven’t had one by my side. I’ve spent many years working closely with animals and their owners, forming deep connections. Though I now work within the local NHS my heart belongs to dogs, its in my blood, they give the best love and its always unconditional.

The name ‘Jasper’ holds a special place in my heart. He was my ultimate soulmate - my little shadow, intensely loyal, and a true mummy’s boy. He and his best friend Eddie were by my side for many years, and losing them both within a year of each other, took a part of me that will never return. Their loss, along with Monty and Becks, has changed me forever. Everything I do and create is in memory of them - and of all the loved ones, human and animal, I have had to say goodbye to.

Jasper’s Creations is for anyone who’s loved deeply and lost dearly. Whether you’re honouring a parent, a partner, a child, or a furry companion, your story matters here, I believe that everybody's story is important, and I love to hear about your memories of them all.

Why I Create

Creating keepsakes and jewellery is my way of helping others through the grieving process. I know how much a bond can mean—whether it’s with a person or a pet. I’ve felt that ache & pain myself, so I understand. That’s why every item I make is crafted with care—infused with love, memory, and personal meaning.

Whether it’s a pendant holding fur, a charm with ashes, or a ring that carries a quiet story, my hope is that each piece offers comfort and a little reminder that love never truly leaves us.

My own ring holds Jasper and Eddie’s fur. It brings me comfort, knowing I have them close always, and I hope your keepsake brings you the same.
