FAQ's
I make it a priority to make such a difficult time as stress / worry free as possible, I am here to offer help, support and as much advice as possible to ensure that your piece is absolutely how you want it to be, if you cant see the answer to any questions you have below then just send me a message via the website or email: jaspers.creations@outlook.com

Do you only create pieces for memorials?
Absolutely not, I create pieces for the celebration of our love with our pets, whether they have paws or hooves, for instance you can just have a piece made cause you want to celebrate them, or keep a piece of your new additions fur from their first groom, or from a new rescue, or have no inclusions at all. You can have a piece made of your favourite colour, their collar colour, fur colour, birthstone colour the list is endless, feel free to ask.

Is it just pet cremation ashes or fur that you work with?
While I often work with pet memorials, I also lovingly create pieces using human cremation ashes or hair. I'm open to many types of meaningful inclusions—feathers, quills, horse tail or mane hair, puppy hair from first groom, fabrics, and more. If you have something special in mind, just reach out. I’m always happy to discuss your request and see how we can preserve it beautifully in resin.
At the moment I do not work with Breast Milk or Flowers as I do not have the experience with this, however I am happy to recommend other artists that do.

How much ashes or hair do I need to send you?
I only need a small amount to create something truly special for you. Here's a quick guide to help:
Ashes: About one teaspoon is usually enough. This allows me to carefully select the most beautiful pieces for your keepsake. Any ashes that aren’t used will always be returned, in the original packaging and any small amount left in the resin is lovingly made into a free gift—nothing is ever thrown away.

Hair or Fur: A small lock around an inch long is perfect. Even tiny clippings can be used in most pieces.
Feathers or Quills: Around 4 quills are usually enough for most designs, 2/3 feathers are also enough.
Sand or Soil: One teaspoon is ideal.
If you’ve chosen a larger piece—such as the resin paw print—I’ll let you know exactly how much is needed when you place your order. Never send all the inclusions that you have, as with anything posted, losses do happen!

How do I send you any inclusions (Ashes, Fur, Hair etc)
You will receive a posting pack once your order has been made in the post, which will have a sealable bag for ashes, or you can place hair in between foil to post. Upon placing your order, I will send you an Ashes Collection Pack via Royal Mail with a unique order reference & a return envelope. Once I have received your inclusions safe & sound they will be thoroughly labelled with your unique Order Reference Number, Pets Name & Date received and placed in their own sterilised unused sealed container in their packaging you have sent them in, until I am ready to use them.

How do you look after my inclusions
Every inclusion I work with—whether it's ashes, hair, feathers, or fabric—is treated with the utmost love, care, dignity, and respect. I understand how deeply precious these items are. They are kept safely sealed and clearly labelled, remaining untouched until the moment they are carefully added to your piece. My workspace is thoroughly cleaned & sterilised between each creation, and each one is handled individually and never mixed, so you can feel reassured that your keepsake is truly personal and lovingly made.

Can I have more than one set of ashes in the piece I order?
Yes, of course, just ensure that you let me know when you order and I will send the amount of bags needed to ensure that they are separate, unless you specifically say that you want them mixed. You can also have ashes & fur/hair it doesn’t have to be one or the other.
What do you do with any leftovers?
Any inclusions that are not used in your piece will always be treated with the same respect and care. They will be returned to you alongside your finished item in their originally packaging sent to me and where possible, I’ll create a small free keepsake using leftover resin that contains your inclusions.
These precious materials are never discarded. With your permission, any remaining inclusions you do not wish to be returned may be used for sample pieces to help others understand what’s possible—or, if you prefer, they can be gently laid to rest in our rose garden, a peaceful place of remembrance. Whatever feels right to you, I’ll honour your wishes with the utmost care and respect.

How will I know that the inclusions are mine?
Each order I create is treated with complete dedication and care. I work on one customer’s piece at any one time to ensure your inclusions remain completely separate and protected, with no risk of cross-contamination.
Your inclusions are stored securely—sealed in a labelled bag and kept in a closed container—until the moment I begin working on your piece. They are never opened or handled until that time.
To give you complete peace of mind, you’ll receive a Certificate of Authenticity, personally signed by me, confirming that the inclusions used in your keepsake or jewellery are solely those of your beloved pet or loved one. As I am the only person involved in crafting your piece, I can truly guarantee its authenticity.

What is my ring size?
For the most accurate fit, I highly recommend visiting a local jeweller to have your finger measured properly. This helps ensure your ring is made to the correct size from the start—because unfortunately, I’m unable to offer refunds for incorrect sizing.
I know how special this order is, and I want everything to go as smoothly as possible for you. Taking this small extra step can help avoid any hiccups and make sure your ring fits just right, and remember that different temperature's can affect your ring sizing.

Does my pendant come with a chain?
Yes — all of our pendants come with a high-quality 20" matching chain as standard.
We also offer a selection of chain upgrades, with lengths ranging from 18" to 30", available in four beautiful finishes to suit your style and preference.

How long will my order take?
This depends on a couple of things, if I have the item, you require is in stock I normally ask for 4-6 weeks for orders from the time of receiving the inclusions as I only ever work on one customer order at any one time.
Gold items are always made to order and have a lead time of 10 weeks as are any custom orders.
If you need an item by a certain date, just send me a message or email with the date you need it by. I’ll be happy to check with my supplier to confirm whether your timeline can be met—and I’ll always be honest about what’s possible.
Can you offer engraving?
Yes, most items can be engraved, each product will state if it is possible & how many characters can be engraved. If unsure just ask me and there is a small fee of £15 for engraving. See my 'Engraving Page' for more information

Should I consider Stainless Steel?
Stainless steel is becoming a popular choice—and for good reason!
It has a highly polished, shiny finish that looks very much like silver, but with the added bonus of being far more durable. It’s a strong metal that won’t tarnish, rust, or change colour over time, making it a wonderful choice for lasting keepsakes.
Water-resistant, Hypoallergenic – gentle on most skin types & perfect for everyday wear
If you’re planning to wear your jewellery daily, stainless steel is the option I recommend most—it’s both beautiful and built to last.
Do the pendants come with a necklace chain?
Most of our pendants do include a necklace chain, but this can vary—so please be sure to check the individual product page for full details. If you’re unsure or would like a custom option, feel free to get in touch—I'm always happy to help you find the perfect fit!
How do I look after my piece?
You can wear your piece of memorial jewellery most of the time. However, please do make sure it is removed when: doing housework; sunbathing; applying perfume and lotion; showering and bathing. A Care sheet will be sent to you with the finished piece, or you can refer to our Care of your Jewellery / Keepsake page on our website. Not following our advice will invalidate your warranty.
I really don’t want to send my inclusions in the post; can I drop them off to you?
I am at many regular craft markets locally if you wish to drop them off to me personally, or alternative arrangements can be made, again just message me with any worries that you may have. I can also collect any ashes separated at the time of cremation from any local crematoriums, please let me know is this is what you would prefer.
Do you ship worldwide?
No, at the moment I only offer orders in the UK, due to new regulations this does not include Northern Ireland.
